Brainerd-Baxter is home to 65,000 year-round residents and is located in one of the fastest growing counties in the state. In this role, you will assist RNs, Physicians and other providers by providing direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to the mission and goals of Essentia Health. You will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. You will care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Education Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts)

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.

$19.55 - $29.32 / hour

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
