We are currently looking for a Design and Release Engineer to join our team in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for development of telematics car components and systems. Future responsibility may include working with digital video modules as well.

Job functions Include but are not limited to: [not to exceed 6 bullets]

Design, develop, and release of telematics and/or digital video components to meet project timing and requirements.
Track cost and develop value optimized designs
Identify, investigate, communicate and coordinate closure of issues across departments and regions as needed.
Ensure best practices and lessons learned are implemented in the designs
Determine root cause, short- and long-term corrective actions for issues discovered during development
Monitor and help improve quality of components in production.

Qualifications:

1-4 years of related experience preferred
BSEE, BSME, BSCS or related engineering degree preferred.
Optional: Connected Car / Telematics / Video processing Experience.
