Role Summary:

CHC Helikopter Services, Norway have an exciting opportunity for a Production planner to come join our team base at Sola.

The Production Planner is responsible to coordinate the planning and execution of the maintenance plan on their assigned bases. This is a full time position, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation in a very rewarding area of aviation.

The role will report to Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Planning including creating work packages and associating Work Orders with work packages
Maintaining the work package after the T-2 week handover of the work package
Liaise with Operations as required to coordinate ground times, hangar loading sequencing, ramp operations, engine and skin wash requirements, etc.
Working with Maintenance Management to sequence task cards in best practice order
Identifying, communicating and helping resolve when possible constraints that represent a risk to the scheduled maintenance event
Tracking and scheduling B and C defects
Performing work package audits to help ensure completeness of and accuracy of the documentation of the work performed
Chair T-2 Week and T-3 day input meetings with production
Preparing a Daily Scheduled Maintenance Plan for Maintenance Management prior to the end of the operational day
Attending T-4 weeks planning meeting and reviewing manpower planning status
Liaise with RMC for material requirements, including shortages
Coordination of re-scheduled maintenance activities into work packages
May perform other duties as assigned and within areas of responsibility

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

Min. 5 years of experience with maintenance planning, preferably from the Aviation industry
Experience using AMOS
Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, verbal and written
Excellent skills in planning systems and general good IT knowledge
calmly under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Ability to prioritise a heavy workload in a fast paced and changing environment
Excellent problem-solving skills, collaboration skills and decision-making skills
Strong financial understanding, and the ability to ensure cost-efficient planning
Strong work ethic and enthusiasm with a can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a hectic work environment
Organised and motivated individual who is able to work as part of a team and on own initiative with excellent problem solving ability
