An employer is looking for a Remote Mental Health Care Advocate to join their team in the Maryland area.
This person will be handling calls from Emergency Department providers seeking authorization for Mental Health services for patients actively in the respective Emergency Department.
This means that this person must be comfortable with heavy communication over the phone for a vast majority of each shift handling those authorizations - great personality is important! All candidates must have a Masters degree in a relevant field, hold an active LCPC or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland and have experience with the utilization review/authorization of services from a payer perspective.
