Summary:
SPACE Camp Lower School Co-Teachers provide instruction for incoming K-4th grade students within the camp setting. Hours of work are 8:45 am - 3:45 pm, with a half hour lunch break.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a classroom setting
• Teaching degree/certification strongly desired
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited To):
• Responsible for 10-15 students incoming K-4th grade
• Work alongside another co-teacher in the classroom setting
• Create and implement curriculum related to student grade level and/or theme
• Coordinate and collaborate with special education staff to support students with disabilities
• Consistent, reliable and punctual attendance is essential for supervision and instruction of the students
• Responsible for implementing "other job related duties" as needed.

• Work is performed in a school/classroom environment, as well as outdoors. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.
Physical Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch and/or kneel.
• Regularly required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
