Zelis has an opening for a Senior Python Engineer - Automation, with automation experience. This individual will have an extensive background in spearheading projects that significantly improve operational efficiency and elevate user experiences. Your Day-to-Day:

Development:
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Debugging and resolving complex issues in existing software. Completing work on time with little to no oversight.
Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with business analysts, solution architects, and fellow developers, converting requirements into scalable, sustainable automation solutions.
Project Planning and Management:
Contributing to project planning, including estimating timelines and resource requirements. Managing priorities and task assignments within the development team.
Mentorship:
Mentoring junior developers, providing guidance, and encouraging best practices.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 5 years experience developing automation solutions.
Experience with Flask or similar web framework.
Experience with Python Azure technical stack.
Python Expertise:
craft, test, and deploy solutions.
Automation experience to include:
streamlining complex workflows and delivering solutions that are both scalable and aligned with business objectives.
API Integration with REST APIs.

Preferred Experience:

Bachelor's degree
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Familiarity with programming languages (C# or VB).
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.
A portfolio of projects or contributions to open-source projects is highly desirable.
