Position Overview:
The Payee Service Representative supports the delivery of payments to payees on behalf of Zelis Payer clients, spanning registration, verification, and customer support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to basic questions, by phone or secure mail messages, about payment products and services .

Forward s complicated questions to the appropriate internal team or direct supervisor

Troubleshoot s and resolve s customer issues in a professional and timely manner

Exercises sound judgment and critical thinking skills in the execution of job duties and knows when to ask for guidance and/or share information with team lead and/or supervisor

Identify process improvements, knowledge gaps and make suggestions to Leadership

Is adaptable to business changes

Contact s clients by phone to collect information needed to verify or update accounts

Verify that client enrollment forms and deposit-related inquiries contain all necessary and appropriate information

Adhere to Zelis Payments standards and policies to ensure client privacy

Professional Experience and Knowledge:
Attention to detail and good analytical skills essential

Excellent verbal and written communication

This is a client /customer facing position, so excellent customer service skills are required

Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office products

Thorough knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures .

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required

A ssociates D egree /two years college or equivalent work experience

Work Environment:
A standard business environment exists with moderate noise levels

Ability to lift and move approximately thirty (30) pounds on a non-routine basis

Ability to sit for extended periods of time
