The RN Utilization Review Nurse is responsible to facilitating care along a continuum through effective resource coordination to help patients achieve optimal health, access to care and appropriate utilization of resources, balanced with the patient's resources.
This position manages medical necessity process for accurate and timely payment for services whichmay require negotiation with a payer on a case by case basis.Preferred EducationBachlor of Science in NursingMinimum ExperienceMust have at least 2 years acute care experience and at least one year of utilization review experienceRequired Certification/Licensure-State License-BLSBENEFITS- Guaranteed hours for Travel Contracts- Preferred Booking Agreement for Local Contracts - Weekly Pay- Holiday Pay- Contract Security compared to a contract with an outside agency Our Hire Process-
