We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

00am to 4:
30pm CST with lunch from 2:

Primary Responsibilities:

Provideexceptional customer servicetoall consumersandmembersofthe clinic staff
Fillsprescriptionordersandmakesthemavailablefor verificationunderdirect supervisionoftheregisteredpharmacist
Orders,receives,and storesincomingpharmacy supplies
Receivesandprocesseswholesalermedicationorders
Verifiesmedication stockandentersdatain computertomaintaininventoryrecords
WorkswiththePharmacisttoassetinthepharmacyfunctionsand keepingthepharmacyin compliancewithallfederaland staterequirements
Performs various clericaldutiesrelatingtothedepartment
Communicateswith strongprofessional verbalandwritten communication skills
Otherdutiesasassigned

Required Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Louisiana
Access to reliable transportation

PreferredQualifications:

NationalPharmacyTechnicianCertification
Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
Immunization Certification
Bilingual in Spanish and English
