Shift:

Full-time: Monday - Friday
5 AM start time

Position Summary:
The Company hires andtrains individuals with less than one year of experience and enters them into our Driver Training Program. Associate Drivers receive training and coaching and perform driver duties that allow them to gain the necessary experience to qualify for a professional driver position.

Position Responsibilities:

Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle
Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
Maneuver vehicles and equipment in congestedareas with limited space and potential obstacles
Unload and deliver products to our customers utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments
Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel
Complete delivery and pick up paperwork
Pick up returned product as required
Collect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.
Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
Complete company training and certifications as required
Effectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workers
Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

Must be at least 21 yearsof age
Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience in the military
Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements
Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on aregular basis
Must be able to pass a post-offer background, DOT Physical, and drug test
