Emerald Therapy Center, LLC is a multi-disciplinary behavioral health organization with locations in Paducah, Murray, and Mayfield, Kentucky. Our mission is to provide counseling, psychiatric medication management, and addiction treatment to clients so they can function at their highest level.

We opened our first office in Paducah, KY in the fall of 2014. Since then, Emerald Therapy Center, LLC. has seen tremendous growth, and the need for more services and programs was quickly recognized. The owners have continued to diligently work towards expanding services and making Emerald the most certified and credentialed counseling center in Western Kentucky. We can assess, diagnose, and treat adults, teens, and children. Various treatment options from the individual, group and family therapy are offered. Sessions may be conducted at our main office location, various facilities that we partner with, or even in the client's own home.

Emerald Therapy Center, LLC., promotes not only emotional wellness, but physical, spiritual, and financial wellness by directing other resources to clients so they can live their healthiest and most productive life. We use these four areas of wellness to help clients function at their highest level. We promote that counseling, therapy, and life coaching should be uplifting and encouraging. We want our clients to leave our facility feeling better than when they came in, regardless of the issue.

Position Qualifications:

Bilingual Spanish speaking required.
Must reside in Kentucky.
Skill in providing counseling/talk therapy in accordance with established standard of care; customer service and support skills.
Ability to successfully counsel patients to improve mental and behavioral health.
Work with physicians, mid-levels, and other members of medical care teams to evaluate and develop comprehensive patient care plans.
Successfully refer patients to mental health specialists and other community resources as needed.
Interact professionally and appropriately with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, ethnic, and professional backgrounds.
Work effectively with managers, coworkers, and members of public and professional groups to coordinate activities and projects.
Communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely with team members and clients.
Be flexible to shift priorities and maintain confidentiality.
Follow Emerald Therapy Center, LLC's clinical practice guidelines and all applicable policies.
Be available to accept new assignments as needed.
Experienced in working with young children.
Experienced in working with children in foster care settings.

Responsibilities will include:

Ensure services provided are medically necessary and evidence-based.
Coordinate care with other service providers, as appropriate.
Participate in case of consultation as clinically indicated.

Education and/or Experience:

Experience in clinical counseling or social work setting.
Completion of an accredited program with certification and licensure as LPCC, LPA, CSW, LCSW, LICSW, or LPCA in Kentucky.
Valid Kentucky Drivers License.
Must be eligible for licensure in Kentucky.
