*Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. We prefer candidates willing to work a hybrid in-office work schedule (3 days per week) if local. We are also open to candidates working in nearby markets (i.e. Cincinnati, Louisville, Nashville), in a remote capacity but willing to visit HQs as needed.

How You'll Make an Impact

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of creative and marketing projects, from conception to completion. This will involve close partnership with internal creatives, brand marketing, product strategy and the broader brand equity team on key initiatives to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Having exceptional organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a creative mindset will be instrumental in leading multiple projects simultaneously while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that leverages the full capability of the Brand Equity & Creative Service team.

In the role, you would be responsible for:

Project Planning and Coordination:

• Communicate project objectives, requirements and timelines to team members and stakeholders.

• Develop project plans and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Coordinate resources to ensure project deliverables are met with identified key milestones.

• Adjust workflows and resources as needed across workstream(s) to ensure optimal delivery and mitigate project risks.

• Looks for continuous improvement opportunities in project management tools/platform (i.e. Workfront).

• Reviews briefs and project requests to appropriately assign to identified creatives or brand equity team members.

Key Stakeholder 'Client' Management:

• Serve as key point of contact for brief submissions - reviewing project request and proper inputs received to begin work.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure satisfaction with project deliverables.

• Gather stakeholder feedback and incorporate it into project revisions as needed.

• Build strong relationships through clear communication and exceptional service delivery.

• Conduct post-project reviews as warranted to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.

Project Execution and Quality Assurance:

• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, taking proactive measures to address them.

• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards, brand guidelines and stakeholder/brief expectations.

• Implement feedback loops and continuous improvement processes to enhance project outcomes and efficiency

Team Leadership and Creative Collaboration:

• Work alongside creatives - such as designers, copywriters, photographers, web developers, and brand generalists to create strong marketing assets and deliverables.

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

• Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure their success and development.

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide solutions.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.

• Proven 3 - 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably within a creative services, creative agency, or marketing environment.

• Excellent communication, negotiatons and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.

• Maintain a positive, personable and approachable demeanor, creating collaborative working environments.

• Strong understanding of project managment methodologies and tools/softwares.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for details.

• Creative mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
