*Description*
For fun at work, just add water! Make a splash this summer working at the Shawnee Municipal pools! Gain valuable customer service and teamwork experience in a fun environment. The Cashier is responsible for maintaining an efficient register operation, including courteous and accurate customer service, a clean, neat counter area, consistent inventory levels and accurately cash counts. *Pay for this position begins at $7.25 per hour. Additional compensation will be provided for employees who return after one season.*
*Position Responsibilities:*
* Greet all patrons in a polite and courteous manner
* Take orders and serve customers
* Fill out daily reports
* Operate the cash register and maintain accurate funds. Distribute correct change. Balance the cash drawer daily at the end of shift
* Clean work place areas
* Inform Manager of items to order
* Always conduct oneself in a professional manner
* Performs other related duties as requested or assigned by the Pool Manager or Aquatics Director
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Must be at least 15 years of age or older by May 31, 2022
* Cash register experience is preferred
* Must successfully pass a written math test
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification or the ability to obtain certification prior to beginning employment
