Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM; hours may vary depending on business needs

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate provides a wide range of warehouse functions, including anything from making boxes to loading boxes to delivering those boxes, and everything in between within the warehouse.

Essential Functions:

Assists Warehouse Manager in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses annually
Drives vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites
Loads delivery vehicles for the purpose of ensuring that all items and supplies are properly secured
Maintains and cleans warehouse facilities as assigned for the purpose of keeping them in orderly, clean and safe condition
Maintains various files and records for the purpose of documenting activities, and providing materials and reliable resource information
Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements
Receives stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct and/or inspecting items for damage
Assists Warehouse Manager in inquiries of staff and vendors for the purpose of providing information and/or direction regarding the status of deliveries, and/or reporting discrepancies to appropriate personnel
Stocks equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining required inventory levels
Unloads items for the purpose of distributing shipment to assigned site locations and/or individuals

Competencies:

Ability to build relationships with team members and vendors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skills
Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments

Position Requirements:

Self-motivated and can work efficiently with minimal supervision
Team player and positive attitude while interacting with co-workers and management
A valid driver's license and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Check and DOT physical as needed
At least 21 years old

Physical Demands: The Warehouse Associate position requires physical activities, such as standing, walking, bending and regularly lifting up to 80 lbs.
