Demand and Supply Planning Manager

About the role

This position plays a pivotal part in leading end-to-end Demand planning and market supply to deliver best in class customer service levels, innovation, portfolio optimization, maintain optimal cost of goods and inventory levels within the market.
Lead projects to transform the demand forecasting capability and output, in line with business needs while managing stakeholders' expectations, be it within market multifunctional commercial teams or upstream supply chain.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage Demand Forecasting and Supply processes to meet the business needs on relevant metrics related to service, inventory, cost, leveraging best in class forecast accuracy and bias.

• Build a consensus driven, assumptions-based Demand Forecast with commercial teams ensuring full volume and value alignment, enabling high quality discussions, fast decision making, reasonability checks by leading Core Commercial Cycle / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process while securing adherence to standards as well as implementing process or systems updates/upgrades.

• Establish a robust demand forecast analyzing and integrating relevant demand drivers (Market/Category/Channel/Brand dynamics, Promotions uplift/cannibalization, Innovation)

• Secure supply to meet sales plan; Manage an effective product lifecycle from New Product Innovation process and meetings to managing slow moving/aged stock and discontinuations.

• Maintain excellent collaborative working relationships with key internal and external stake holders within department and outside as well as upstream supply chain (Supply Planning HUB, plants, Logistic Teams)

• Drive continuous improvement and enhanced capabilities within supply chain and beyond.

• Direct management responsibility for the Demand and Supply team; Set and monitor performance and development objectives as part of the performance process, ensuring that such objectives support departmental and business strategy.

  Standard Operating Procedures, Management Monitoring

• Min 2-3 years of experience in Demand and Supply

• Fluent English and Czech/Slovak language skills

• People management skills

• Other SC areas are a plus (Warehousing and Distribution, Customer Service)
