Hours: Variable based on assignment

Job.com Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel MRI Tech to join our healthcare team in Pekin, IL. This position involves working on a travel basis providing high-quality patient care in medical, surgical, and telemetry units across various healthcare environments. Responsibilities:
Safely and accurately operate MRI machines to capture high-quality images of patients internal structures based on physician orders.
Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
Review and assess MRI images for clarity and completeness, making adjustments to ensure diagnostic quality and re-scan if necessary.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of MRI equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order and reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information, adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications:
Current and valid ARRT Certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI technician.
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
Background check, drug test, and competency test required.
COVID-19 Vaccination with POV.
