SUMMARY:

As a Software Developer, you will be involved in the complete software development lifecycle os out Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) recrivers. The GNSS engineering team designs best in class systems and software solutions for our customers. You will apply and maintain the various development standards imposed by the avionics field while bettering the industry standards for the GNSS and developing innovative solutions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in the development of new avionics software solutions that will revolutionize the aerospace industry in accordance with company standard and industry methodologies;
Create software architecture that will evolve with the products;
Participate in all phases of the software development (design, code, test and documentation);
Resolve multiple technical challenges related to new and existing technologies;
Participate in software development and peer reviews.
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent;
Familiar with programming languages (C, Ada);
Knowledgeable in interfacing hardware and software;
Excellent analytical skills for test analysis and development;
Familiar in software development running on Windows;
Bilingual - French and English
Must be a U.S. Persons/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.
Must be able to commute to Sugar Grove, IL three days per week.
Assets:

Familiar with Software Configuration systems.
Familiar with Requirements management systems (DOORS).
Familar with DO-178 certification process.
Familiar with communication protocols (RS-232, RS-422, A-429, Ethernet, etc.).
Familiar with global navigation satellite systems.
Experience in avionics software development.
Experience in embedded software development.
