AECOM is seeking an Transportation Engineering Manager to be based in Meridian, ID.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Regional transportation engineering expert on providing technical leadership and guidance in a specialty, providing strategic planning to increase our profitability within area of expertise.
• Keeps informed of new developments and requirements within state infrastructure affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications.
• Uses creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented technical problems.
Interprets, organizes, executes and coordinates assignments.
• Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.
• Develops standards and guidelines for use throughout the company.
The knowledge and expertise required for this level of work usually results from progressive experience.
• Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications + BA/BS + 10 Years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
