Position Overview:
We are seeking a poised and personable Restaurant Hostess to join our team at Beverly's Fine Dining Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing outstanding customer service, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, upscale environment. As a hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests, warmly welcoming them, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guest Relations:
Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression and ensuring they feel welcome and valued. Assist guests with inquiries, provide information about the restaurant, and address any concerns or special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Reservation Management:
Manage restaurant reservations effectively, utilizing the reservation system to book tables, confirm bookings, and maintain accurate records. Monitor reservation lists, anticipate arrival times, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Seating Coordination:
Organize seating assignments in accordance with reservation status, party size, and guest preferences, ensuring an equitable distribution of guests throughout the dining area. Communicate effectively with servers and management to facilitate smooth transitions between tables and maintain efficient flow of service.
• Guest Experience Enhancement:
Enhance the dining experience for guests by providing personalized attention, acknowledging special occasions, and accommodating requests for specific seating arrangements or dietary preferences. Proactively anticipate guest needs and address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Communication:
Liaise effectively with restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and management, to coordinate guest seating, manage waitlists, and provide updates on table availability. Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the appropriate team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Hospitality Standards:
Maintain the highest standards of hospitality, professionalism, and presentation at all times, adhering to established protocols and procedures. Uphold the reputation of Beverly's as a premier dining destination by consistently delivering exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations.
Qualifications:
• Previous Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment, with a demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and hospitality.
• Customer Focus:
Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction. Ability to engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.
• Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in managing reservations, seating assignments, and guest preferences to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
• Team Collaboration:
Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating openly and professionally with colleagues to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional service.

• Full Time Employees are offered these benefits first of the month following 60 days of employment
• Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.
• Variable hour team members could be eligible 12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30+ hours per week throughout their first year.
401K Plan:
• Team members are eligible to participate at the age of 21 or greater and at the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
• 50% match up to a 4% contribution from the team member.
PTO:
• 6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)
• 1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)
• 2-4 years gets 15 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)
• 5+ years gets 20 PTO days - 1,200 hours (average 23 hours per week)
Holiday Pay:
• Hourly team members who work on Thanksgiving and Christmas will be paid their wage at time and a half.
