Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Overview:

Our facility in Humacao, PR is seeking a Sr. Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team of industry leading experts. This position is responsible to provide leadership for the manufacturing areas of Final Assembly, Stuffing, SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) & FSS (Fountain Selective Soldering), focus on Quality through IPC and Corporate Standards, as well as all other metrics such as Safety, Delivery, Productivity, etc.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead within the production area to execute build schedules, support schedule changes.
• Oversee production work cell staffing and training requirements to meet production needs.
• Ensure all production area needs related to materials and staffing are maintained.
• Monitor all production lines for performance and compliance to standard work.
• Implement cross training plans to enhance production flexibility and mitigate risks.
• Execute people performance evaluations and recommendations for development purposes.
• Lead production area visual management and problem solving.
• Maintain key measurement systems and metrics across all production.
• Collaborate with safety, quality, materials, engineering, and equipment support teams to maintain or improve key performance criteria related to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Maintain Lutron Production System LPS in place to ensure standards and provide recommendations for production improvement.
• Communicate to employees with plant site updates.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

• • Bachelors degree preferably in engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading people.
  • Fluent in English (verbal, reading and writing)
  • Knowledge in Printed Circuit Board Assembly and Electronic Assembly
  • Experience in problem Solving techniques (5 Why's, 8D, Lean Six Sigma,etc.)
  • Experience in Conflict Resolution
  • Strong communication at all levels of the organization.
