Job Location: Honolulu
Compensation: $52K-$59K/year
Employment Type: Direct Hire - Full Time
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm (some weekends for events)
This position is for a Non Profit Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assists President in the development and implementation of strategies for expanding and strengthening relations with Japan businesses & Industry and other assigned projects.
2. Assists President with staff leadership and support to assigned committees.
3. Research and recommend strategies to implement for Developing new relations with Japan businesses & Industry.
4. Assists President as a translator in meetings and written communication in Japanese.
5. Provides staff support to other committees designated.
6. Perform other related duties as required.
7. Represents the organization at various business & community functions.
8. Assists Office Manager with office operations when directed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Business or related field preferred.
2. Project Management skills preferred.
3. Organization and prioritization skills preferred.
4. Personal Computer skills with the use of Microsoft Office required.
5. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
6. Excellent inter-personal skills to effectively establish, manage and maintain working relationships with a diverse constituency.
7. Ability to be flexible and patient when working with people.
8. Ability to comprehend complex information, critically think and problem-solve.
9. Ability to develop and effectively implement programs and functions.
