*CoverMyMeds has an opening for a Senior Delivery Manager in our Atlanta, North Druid Hills office.*

*Position Description*

The Senior Delivery Manager will work with Product and Functional Group Owners to plan, execute projects, and ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical knowledge/specifications, direction, and resources to deliver on business objectives for the development group within the SDLC process. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Core Engineering, the manager is accountable for managing and coordinating resources and processes to deliver software and application support, while participating in the strategies created for the product development and driving initiatives that deliver on the business goals and visions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work closely with Product Owners, Sales, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Project Management for understanding the functional and non-functional requirements of a system, service, or product offering.

3. Demonstrate leadership abilities across operation teams within production to address customer needs for support, issue analysis, enhancements, and corrective actions.

4. Evolve the existing software systems, infrastructure, and architecture as needed to support growth, SLAs, and continued operation within selected OS, database, and integrated commercial software.

5. Coordinate release, sprint, and project planning with coordinated meetings as needed to ensure project tracking and completion.

6. Collaborate with system, network, and storage teams on budget/growth planning for database, storage, server, and network systems.

7. Resolve technical problems, issues, and escalations within delivery team and project activities.

8. Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.

9. Maintain and monitor individual employees performance plans.

*Qualifications*

*Minimum Requirements*

6+ years software engineering experience including 4+ years managerial experience

*Critical Skills*

4+ years of software development management experience with a minimum of 2+ years working with teams that hold production operational roles or activities. Must have experience with mixed application environments (Linux (UNIX)/Windows

Must have at least 6 years experience working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering software products/services to market as part of the development team or manager.

Must have at least 2 years of operational experience with production application support.

Prior development skills as a software applications individual/developer, team leader, and/or architect.

Strong understanding of various development methodologies and movement of team activities and processes to ensure their proper use (i.e. Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).

Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Diverse management or lead experience with data analyst, database engineers, application developers, web service engineers, software architects, and DBAs.

Experience in Java and/or C# programming for application server development with emphasis on middle-tier and data-tier layer.

Experience in cloud development, particularly in GCP or Azure

*Additional Knowledge & Skills*

Must demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills, and ability to work across a diverse technical group.

Intermediate to advanced user with Microsoft Office Suite.

Self-motivated, team player, action-and-results oriented with excellent attention to critical details.

Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines

Windows and Linux or equivalen.
