14555-Programmer Analyst - Restaurant Facing 1000 Darden Center Dr, Orlando FL 32837 JOB OVERVIEW:
The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for enhancing, configuring, deploying, and supporting Dardens Kitchen Display, Table Management systems, Ziosk and Web applications to meet business needs and requirements. More specifically these tasks will include investigation and analysis to determine root causes of issues, coding, unit testing and implementation of fixes and enhancements under the direction of senior team members. The Programmer Analyst will provide production support to users of Darden applications.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Configure, Enhance and Deploy packaged solutions for Kitchen Display, Table Management Systems, and Ziosk.
• Ensure technical solutions are fully tested and validated prior to deployment.
• Complete tasks within estimated timeframes with high quality solutions that do not require rework.
• Perform research and analysis to determine root causes of issues and take corrective action.
• Review requirement and design documents and develop solutions to specifications.
• Work with vendors and other IT teams on desired enhancements and resolving issues.
• Follow established change management policies and procedures.
• Validates that all configuration and software deployments are completed successfully.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing and supporting production applications
• Programming / Analysis experience a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
• SQL query authoring and analysis skills
• Ability to conceptualize and recommend potential technical solutions to meet business needs
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
• Associate degree or BS/BA in MIS, Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or comparable technical experience/training
• Relevant work experience with a High School diploma will be considered
OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
• Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
• Detail Oriented with a high level of ownership
• Comfortable multitasking managing multiple requests based on priority
• Ability to learn existing processes independently and efficiently
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Angular, Entity Framework, .NET Core, Web Services, JSON
• Experience with QSR Automations products, such as ConnectSmart Kitchen and DineTime
• Knowledge of restaurant business, Point of Sale, or Retail
• Experience working with and troubleshooting different Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Experience with XML, HTML, PowerShell Scripting
