Job Summary

Performs activities concerned with general ledger and Accounts payable, and Financial reporting. Assist in process of accurately stating financial position of the hospital.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist in performance of monthly general ledger closing process.
Preparation and review of assigned balance sheet reconciliation to ensure actual activity is reported accurately with proper support. Also proposes necessary adjustments on a timely basis.
Manages Accounts Payable process including electronic invoicing, vendor research issues and GL coding.
Assists with completion of daily reporting for Internal Management needs.
Regular, punctual and dependable attendance.
Assists Controller and CFO as needed with Special Assignments.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience in health care accounting preferred but not required
Bachelors Degree is Accounting, Finance or other business related field
