Reporting Structure

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Department Lead.

+ Provide technical assistance or guidance to the crew.

+ Carry out maintenance repairs on customer aircraft.

+ Sign work sheets and work cards for work accomplished - completely and accurately.

Qualifications

+ Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.

Experience

+ 3-5 years' experience in the field.

Company Regulatory Training Requirements - Training will be conducted online unless otherwise specified

+ Management Development Program (instructor-led)

+ Occupational Health and Safety Awareness Training for Supervisors in All Jurisdictions

+ Progressive Discipline

+ Supervisor 101 - Avmax Internal Training (instructor-led)

NOTE: Most training modules will be assigned as part of the onboarding program and must be completed within the first 3 months of employment. Please refer to your onboarding schedule for further details.

Safety Training for Safety Committee Members - (Only Applicable to employees who will be part of the Safety Committee)

+ A Guide to Workplace Incident Investigations

+ Health and Safety Committee Training for Committee Members

Elective Programs / Courses

Elective programs and/or courses should meet at least one of the following criteria:

+ Alignment with core competencies / KPI's, as outlined in the current position profile;

+ Development of one's skillset for career progression.
