Lee Health Neurology is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic Neurology team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the overall success of our Neurology department.Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive neurological assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions, collaborating with Neurologists and other healthcare professionals.Develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes and continuity of care.Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRI, CT scans, and EEGs, to aid in accurate diagnoses.Provide patient education on neurological conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.Collaborate with Neurology team members to enhance patient care and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.Certification from an accredited professional organization.Specialization or experience in Neurology preferred.Skills and Competencies:
Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating neurological conditions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.Benefits:
