Main tasks include:


NON CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (SURGERY CLEANER ASSISTANT)

To assist the perioperative nursing/surgical teams in meeting the needs of all customers by performing a variety of tasks and/or services including maintaining facilities, providing support functions, and assisting with basic patient care functions while continuously performing in a professional manner. Assist in preparing operating rooms with necessary equipment individual to each procedure
Stage operating room set up appropriately by collaborating with specialty coordinators and operating room staff
Lead room turnover process
Transportation of patients, critical specimens, and labs
Provide support per operational need of the surgery department

Qualifications

Qualification ● High School diploma or equivalency ● Two years of experience as a Nursing Assistant in the operating room preferred. ● Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
