SummaryWe are currently seeking a Northern Virgina Based experienced Cake Decorator & Traveling Trainer to provide technical support, bakery and cake decorating training to assigned client accounts.Essential FunctionsProvide training to in-store bakery personnel on cake decorating techniques along with baking procedures for various products from frozen batters and mixesCreate and implement marketing and sales strategies for ready-to-sell product portfolioDevelop and present new ideas and programs to assigned client accountsPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure best in class service and tools are provided to clients Ability to adapt an ever-changing environmentAbility to stand and use the fine manipulation of both hands for up to 10 hours per dayExcellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skillsSelf-starter with superior organization skills and multi-tasking skillsStrong time management skillsAbility to carefully follow recipes and training procedures based on customer specifications Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies) Must be located near Manassas, VA.
3-5 years of cake decorating and baking experience; grocery store bakery experience preferred Portfolio is preferred Tools will be provided, responsible for keeping track of tools and equipment provided.
Ability to be exposed to colder climates for 3-6 hours per dayAbility to lift up to 50 lbs/pounds manually.Ability to stand and use the fine manipulation of both hands for up to 10 hours per dayMust be able to remain in a stationary position 100%.Constantly operates a kitchen, baking and decorating equipment and machinery.
The person in this position frequently communicates with colleagues and management.
