Maintenance Technician Needed at Richman Property Services, Inc., in Stamford, CT!

Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a community-inspired, passion-driven full-time Maintenance Technician with a can-do attitude to join our growing Richman Signature luxury team! Position: Maintenance Technician

Location:Rippowam Park Apartments, our 431-unit multi-family residential community located in Stamford, CT 06902.

Key Qualifications: Our team is specifically looking for Maintenance Tech's with the following skills!

Strong commitment to grounds, pressure washing, cleanliness and curb appeal
EPA I & II or EPA Universal preferred, may hire without EPA, Richman Property Services may pay the cost of your EPA I & II within first 75-days of employment
Experience with Yardi property management software
Superior customer and resident service standards

Responsibilities:

Execute and sustain daily repair and upkeep of the property
Preparation of vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
Manage service requests and response times, ensuring completion within established deadlines while warranting responsive, efficient, and courteous customer service
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Always maintain a safe work environment and report any safety concerns/issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager
Uphold and demonstrate exceptional customer service
Seek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development
Participate in on-going property preventative maintenance plan
Assist in team effort of maintaining curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds
Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
Communicate adequate inventory of maintenance supplies and parts

Requirements:

Education:
1. High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Experience:
1. Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
2. Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
3. Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
4. Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
5. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Skills & Certifications:
1. EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
2. Valid Driver's License required
3. Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
