St. Vincents Medical Center in Bridgeport has more than 3,200 employees. It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children. St. Vincents is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network, and is the systems second-largest hospital
Founded in 2003, the National Dispensary of Hope is a leading provider of pharmaceuticals to uninsured patients through a growing network of dispensing sites across the country sustained by local partnerships. The Dispensary has collected and distributed tens of millions of dollars worth of pharmaceuticals and filled more than 200,000 prescriptions for patients who otherwise couldnt afford them. The Hope Dispensary of Greater Bridgeport is dedicated to serving low income and uninsured individuals in the Bridgeport Community
Pharmacy Technicians assist Pharmacists the Dispensary of Hope. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Bilingual Spanish/English required*
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma required or equivalent.
Associates Degree in Pharmacy Technician program in preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Current Pharmacy Technician Certification is strongly preferred
Pharmacy registration with Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection within 30 days of hire and by March 31st of each year.
