We appreciate some applicants may have queries or concerns about working in a care home during the coronavirus pandemic. As always at HC-One , the safety and wellbeing of our Colleagues and Residents is our priority and we have taken significant steps to ensure this is the case during and after the pandemic.

All our Colleagues, irrespective of their role, will be provided with sufficient supplies of PPE when working in our homes. Colleagues will be required to wear face masks whenever they are in the care home for that added peace of mind and protection. Where appropriate, Colleagues may also be required to wear additional PPE to help provide the safest possible care.

Our care home Colleagues, Residents and visitors also benefit from our regular coronavirus testing programme, enabling us to ensure our Colleagues are coronavirus negative and to help our Residents live as safely as possible in our homes.

Furthermore, Colleagues across our homes recognise the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine in preventing the spread of the virus and realise that getting vaccinated is the right thing to do. The COVID-19 vaccine is now a condition of employment at HC-One and, from 11th November, all Colleagues will have received both vaccines, unless there is a reasonable medical exemption.

In your role as a Housekeeper at Daneside Mews, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist Care homes. By joining HC-One youll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people. For you, as a Housekeeper, this will mean keeping the cleanest, most hygienic home. Safe, comfortable and welcoming - the environment you maintain will be testament to your brilliant eye for detail. Whether youre managing the cleaning rota or getting your sleeves rolled up and showing how its done, youll do so with a sense of kindness above anything else. This role is 21 hours per week. Hourly rate is s ubject to experience and qualifications.
• About You
•

HC-One are looking for a Housekeeper with experience, ideally, although well provide great training. Youll also need excellent time management and organisational skills. Beyond that, its all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. So youll be a brilliant communicator whos as skilled at listening as giving instruction. And, whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, youll be truly considerate and kind. Well, after all, its just in your nature.
