We have an opening for Sales Manager. This is a full-time, on-site position. *Remote work will be considered for candidates with industry specific experience.*
*Primary responsibilities:*
* Responsible for domestic and international sale of Mesotechs Automated Weather Observing Systems (AWOS) and related meteorological products.
* Prepare quotes and proposals for meteorological instrumentation systems and associated installation work
* Prepare and deliver sales presentations to commercial and government customers
* Respond to incoming sales inquiries via phone and email
* Actively pursue new opportunities based on via phone, email, and networking
* Develop, improve, and implement sales strategy to adapt to changing market
* Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and partners
*Qualifications*
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Bachelors degree in a business or technical field.
* 3+ years of demonstrated success in technical sales (B2B and/or B2G)
* Demonstrated competence using MS Office suite, remote collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.) and CRM software
* Fluent in English language, spoken and written
* Excellent communication skills via phone and email and
* Willing and able to travel as required for sales and marketing activities
* Able to pass a thorough background check by the US Department of Defense.
* This position requires access to ITAR restricted information (must be a US Person).
* Completed COVID-19 vaccination process with FDA-authorized vaccine.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* 5+ years of demonstrated success in technical sales
* Experience in the general aviation and/or meteorological instrumentation industry
* Experience working with general contractors / small constructions projects
