Join Our Team as a Desktop Support Technician!

Are you passionate about technology and thrive in providing outstanding end-user support? We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team! This pivotal role involves routine process support, network and VoIP system administration, and comprehensive documentation. You'll be the go-to expert for all desktop-related queries, ensuring seamless technology experiences for our users. Your role is crucial in offering prompt, precise support while showcasing your excellent customer service skills and technical prowess. How you will have an impact!

Onboards new hires, including device configuration, program installations, and new account registrations.
Completes offboarding tasks, such as retrieval of organizational assets (e.g., laptops, monitors), account disablement, and regaining software and license credentials.
Provides IT assistance/consultation to users; diagnoses and resolves problems in response to customer-reported incidents within our ticketing system, on site or remotely.
Assists with the ordering of equipment and maintains inventory tracking.
Trains end-users on the use of equipment and software.
Documents processes and performs diagnostic tests.
Performs general maintenance tasks; troubleshoots and resolves issues with user devices and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization.
Serves as the first line of defense; escalates tickets and incidents to IT Staff accordingly.
Collaborates with IT staff on company-wide projects.
Keeps track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
Carries out other duties as assigned.

What you can offer Luna!

Have or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or possessing relevant experience.
Must be able to be "In Person" in our Rocklin office for at least the first 90 days before moving to Hybrid
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role (e.g., IT Technician, Desktop Support).
Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
Proficient in determining IT needs and training end-users.
Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
Ability to keep abreast of technical innovation and trends in IT support.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with Google Workspace, User Directories, and SaaS administration is a plus.

$24 - $27 an hour
