Description

RN First Assistant - Operating Room at Providence St. Joseph Hospital of Orange in Orange, CA. This position is full-time and will work 12-hour Day shifts.

Under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon, the RNFA functions during the intra-operative phase by directly assisting the surgeon in controlling bleeding, providing wound exposure, suturing and other surgical tasks utilizing nursing and medical functions.

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training Successful completion of an accredited RNFA course. And
Coursework/Training Completion of established hours/cases of program.
upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
3 years Experience scrubbing and circulating as a RN in the operating room.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Nursing.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
