Our client, a world leader in the semiconductor industry, is looking for a "Mechanical Design Engineer 4".
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer 4
Shift Hours: 9 AM- 5 PM
Job Duration: Long-term Contract on W2 (Onsite)
Location: Milpitas, CA

Responsibilities:
Design, build, prototype testing the next generation broad band plasma (BBP) Wafer inspection opto-mechanical assemblies
Collaborated development with core suppliers
Sustain current broad band plasma (BBP) product lines with manufacturing division
Work with system, optical, electrical and software engineer to derive the subsystem requirements and conduct design reviews
Precision mechanism development: actuator selection, tolerance analysis, lifetime evaluation, optics mounting, alignment & adjustment design, etc
Qualify and release the mechanism design, provide support for onsite manufacturing
Skills & Experience:
7~10 years industry experience
CAE: thermal & structural simulation (ANSYS experience preferred)
CAD Modeling: Creo/ProEngineer experience preferred
