Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space.

The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for a senior level Software Development Engineer to help us push the limits of the next generation of interactive experiences on our platform.
This team is working with some of Apples most advanced technologies including spatial computing, augmented reality (AR), ARKit and Metal 2, to create ground-breaking new products.

Apple makes the newest technologies accessible to create amazing user experiences.
You will have the opportunity to work in a team developing system level frameworks enabling these experiences, in close collaboration with creative teams across Apple and VPG.
The candidate for this role will be comfortable working in a dynamic and creative environment.
You will partner with our extraordinary team of technologists, artists and designers and work closely with organizations across Apple (Human Interface, Applications, Frameworks, etc.) to design, architect, and implement applications, frameworks and experiences that will delight, inspire, and empower millions of people every day.

+ At least 15 years of relevant industry experience and expertise with the following:

+ Programming skills and knowledge of C+ or Objective C or Swift

+ Proficient in 3D math and linear algebra

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills

BS/MS in Computer Science OR equivalent degree OR equivalent experience

• Additional Requirements

+ - iOS CPU/GPU architecture

+ - Familiarity with macOS and Unix

• Pay & Benefits

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $199,800 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apples discretionary employee stock programs.
Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apples Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
