The Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing all types of nutritional care as part of a managed care team dealing with specialized needs of patients in areas such as Medicine and Surgery. In addition, the Registered Dietitian is responsible for educating patients, family, professional staff and students/interns. The Registered Dietitian works under the general direction and is responsible to the Assistant Director of Nutrition Services. The Registered Dietitian willingly participates in the patient care team and supports other team members.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Baccalaureate Degree, Major Nutrition / Dietetics
Professional License/Certificate: Registered Dietitian Eligible and Licensed by the State of Arkansas Eligible
Completed Dietetic Internship
Good organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Some clinical experience
