Job Summary:
McSweeney Chevrolet GMC/ CDJR is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Parts Associate to join our team in Clanton, Alabama. As an Automotive Parts Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining inventory levels, and assisting technicians and customers with parts orders. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails regarding parts inquiries
• Look up and locate needed parts using electronic catalogs and databases
• Place parts orders and track delivery status
• Maintain accurate inventory levels
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with parts
• Assist technicians with locating parts and preparing orders
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department
• Follow company safety protocols and guidelines
• Drive company provided vehicle to get parts from vendors
• Continuously develop product knowledge to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers
• Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive parts associate role or related field
• Ability to lift 70lbs
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software programs
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
