Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity reporting to the Practice Lead - Testing and joining a team of approx.
20 people, where you will be responsible for identifying, creating and maintaining automated test frameworks and all related automated test tasks.
This is a key role where you will be driving devops automation, speeding up delivery and improving quality to enable Mercury to deliver efficiencies fast.
You'll be able to influence how Mercury delivers test automation and help us embark for wider adoption.
We will also provide you with exposure to all areas of Mercury, from generation through to customer where the applicant will promote the adoption of automation.
This role is based in Hamilton and we offer hybrid work environment.
This team currently spends approx two days working from home, coming together to collaborate in the office the remainder of the week.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide high level of quality assurance of software applications and technology to the organisation for all business change across delivery squads Ensuring test practices are followed and that test services are delivered accurately, efficiently and to schedule Work with the Practice Leads, Delivery Leads, Product Owners and Delivery squads to ensure we have the capability to deliver to our business stakeholders the greatest automation experience We are looking for:
Extensive and proven test automation experience on several clients and large-scale projects Strong hands on experience and exposure to all types of testing with focus on automation Experience with a variety of manual and automation testing tools, i.e.
open source such as Playwright and COTS such as Ranorex toolset or Katlon Experience testing the Aps using SOAP/Ready API and Postman Understanding of the CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps or similar Mercury offers (full benefits are listed on our Career Page):
