CDL-A Lease Purchase Driver - 2 yrs OTR EXP & 23 YOA Required

Established in 1994, Christenson Transportation is a family owned, full truck load, dry van carrier with terminals in Strafford, MO and Lebanon, TN. We are proud to offer our drivers great miles running the West coast, East coast, Midwest, South, and Southeast regions. We offer 80% drop and hook, 90% customer direct, and 100% no-touch freight, and we are hiring safe, motivated, drivers to operate our top of the line equipment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years old
• Must have 2 years (within last 3 years) verifiable experience operating a Class 8 CMV
• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Must have a valid DOT physical
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to read, write and speak English language in accordance with FMCSR
• Must either have or obtain a TWIC card
• Stable job history for past 3 years
• No convictions for a serious or disqualifying traffic violation within the last 3 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months, and no more than 2 in the previous 12 months.
• No suspension/ revocations in the past 12 months
• No DUI or DWI convictions within the past 5 years
• No positive or refused drug tests within the past 5 years
• No preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past 3 years
• No more than 3 preventable minor accidents/ incidents in the past 3 years
• No misuse of company equipment or funds.

Compensation and Benefit Package

Our lease agreements require no money down and no credit check. We offer $3500 sign on bonus for solo drivers and $4500 sign on bonus for team drivers on OTR and regional Fleet.

Regional & OTR

• $1.03/mi. + FSC for all miles picked up and delivered west of the Mississippi River
• $1.11/mi + FSC- for all miles picked up and delivered east of the Mississippi River
• $175- Long Island Pay- per pick up OR delivery (not both). Minimal freight-Not forced dispatch.
• Extra pickups/Stops= $65
• Layover Pay= $150
• Detention Pay= $40/hour- Begins 2 hours after on time and correctly reported delivery
• Dwell Time= $50

All of our trucks feature Leather seats, APUs, inverters, bunk heaters, and refrigerators with most trucks featuring a double bunk
