Due to Renishaw now selling a wider range of standalone software, we are seeking a Product Marketing Engineer to take responsibility for marketing of our MODUS industrial metrology products.As a Product Marketing Engineer at Renishaw, you'll hold responsibility for defining market position, pricing, and promotion of the product line along with managing its market adoption and product life cycle.
The vast majority of our products are sold outside the UK through our global network of subsidiary offices, and as such the role has the potential to be diverse and exciting.
The role may require travel overseas.ResponsibilitiesMarket Analysis for the Product lineWork with the Product Manager and Product Owners to define the product specifications and act as the customer representative to ensure requirements are met.Help define and develop marketing, pricing and sales strategies for new and existing products.Monitoring of product sales performance.Oversee product launch activity.Collaborate with Marcomms departments to drive effective marketing promotionsKey requirementsA higher education qualification in technical, engineering or commercial disciplinePrevious sales, marketing, or technical experience in an engineering related fieldDesirable requirementsKnowledge of Manufacturing and Inspection processesPerson specificationThe successful applicant will be well organised and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
They will also have effective decision-making and analytical skills.
