What you will do
Our Service Engineer's deliver the service and maintenance of portable Fire Extinguishers, Fire Blankets and Hose Reels for our customers premises.
The successful candidate will be confident in working on their own as well as part of a team taking direction from their manager and meeting with the requirements of both the customer and Johnson Controls. The ideal candidate will take personal responsibility for service delivery, quality and health and safety by acting as a role model to meet and exceed customer expectations as well as advising our customers and the business of remedial actions required and potential upgrades.
How you will do it
Carrying out of Service and Maintenance of Fire Extinguishers, Fire Blankets and Hose Reels
Understanding of BS5306:3, BS5306:9, BS306:8
Available for call out rota
Customer interpersonal skills
Fault find and undertake inspections
Compliance with quality procedures and documentation
Willingness to travel to various sites.
What we look for
Previous experience in fire protection industry/Extinguisher industry
Ability to use hand tools
Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communicator - with clients, staff and colleagues
Relationship builder with internal and external partners
Working across teams to communicate account requirements with an ability to influence others
Organised, punctual and professional appearance

Driving licence is essential
