Mechanical Engineer Technician at EPFL

Construct and assemble mechanical elements through welding
Sheet metal work, cutting, bending, rolling
Provide advice and assistance in various welding and construction techniques
Participate in the development of equipment for research projects
Maintain laboratory equipment and perform common operational tasks
Fabricate and assemble mechanical parts based on technical drawings or sketches
Contribute to workshop maintenance
Requirements:
Relevant vocational training in mechanical engineering or similar fields
Strong knowledge of welding techniques and sheet metal work
Understanding of conventional and/or CNC machining is a plus
Good command of English and French
Attention to detail, observation skills, and organizational abilities
