La MRC de Maria-Chapdelaine est une des plus grandes au Québec, avec un territoire aussi gros que la Suisse. Les ressources naturelles occupent une grande place dans leur économie et ils travaillent de concert avec leurs partenaires pour les développer. La villégiature est également très présente avec près de 4000 baux de villégiature.
L'organisation peut compter sur une équipe de 39 personnes pour réaliser des mandats variés : aménagement du territoire, inspection, développement économique et local, gestion de fonds de développement, gestion des TPI, gestion des baux de villégiature, sablières et gravières.
L'équipe aménagement travaille de concert avec les milieux sur différents projets. En 2024, l'environnement et les changements climatiques prendront une grande place dans l'organisation.
L'aménagement forestier demeure une priorité pour la MRC Maria-Chapdelaine et la gestion des cours d'eau, la législation en regard du territoire, l'inspection en TNO, les opérations forestières et la géomatique font partie du quotidien de l'équipe.

Le quotidien à la direction de l'aménagement du territoire :
Soutien à la direction générale et participation active à la coordination de la MRC
Participation aux rencontres du conseil de la MRC, diffusion d'informations pertinentes auprès du conseil
Accompagnement des ressources dans la préparation de divers dossiers
Supervision de l'élaboration d'outils d'aménagement du territoire
Participation aux divers comités consultatifs en lien avec l'aménagement du territoire
Maintien et entretien des relations avec les partenaires clés du territoire
Suivi et traitement des dossiers jugés prioritaires
Gestion et coordination d'une équipe aux profils et emplois variés
Représentation de la MRC auprès de différentes instances
Mobilisation de l'équipe de l'aménagement du territoire
Respect des échéanciers des différents dossiers traités par son équipe
Participation à la concrétisation de projets rassembleurs

Le profil du parfait candidat :
BAC en urbanisme, géographie et aménagement durable, génie agroenvironnemental, ingénierie ou une formation universitaire apparentée et pertinente
Expérience minimale de 5 ans dans un domaine lié à l'aménagement du territoire
Expérience minimale de 2 ans dans un poste en gestion
Connaissances du milieu municipal
Capacité de réflexion, de leadership, de gestion, facilité à travailler en équipe, excellentes communications interpersonnelles, autonomie et sens de l'initiative.
