Technical Writer - Optimy.ai
Optimy.ai is expanding, and we're on the lookout for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for our Sales-focused e-commerce platform within the automotive industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with visionary technology entrepreneurs, transform complex information into clear and user-friendly content, support client understanding, and contribute to the enhancement of our digital solutions.

Kognitive Tech Inc. is a Sales Tech company that was founded in 2006 and was created to help clients increase sales revenue and profitability while providing world-class customer service. Our eCommerce division, Optimy.ai offers businesses a video chat tool, Optimy, that is the first eCommerce plug-in that allows for a live video chat conversation within the customer's web browser that is 100% private & secure. The video chat function lets businesses interact with customers and sell products online, just like they would in-store, increasing conversion rates from site visits to sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and organize clear, concise, and comprehensive technical content for new and existing software features.
Create and update detailed API documentation to assist developers in understanding and utilizing our APIs effectively.
Structure and organize documentation hierarchically to enhance user experience, making information easily accessible for both technical and non-technical users.
Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate, complete documentation.
Edit and review documentation to ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency across all technical content.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
Familiarity with Git and content management solutions.
Experience writing documentation for projects based on JavaScript (JS), PHP, SQL, and Python.
Experience creating detailed API documentation for a developer audience.
Familiarity with the Agile development process.
Experience using software or hardware systems via direct experimentation (e.g., reading and running code).
Payrate:
$60,000 - $80,000
