WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Social Media Associate, TikTok to join our Social team in creating fun and engaging content and finding innovative ways to engage with our audience on social media platforms.

This is a hybrid position, based out of our Toronto Head Office.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• Support the Social Media Manager and the Social Media Associate Manager in content creation and development alongside Creative team
• Assist managing community management accounts within (but not limited to) Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
• Stay up to date with DECIEM's product knowledge, company information, launches and campaigns
• Engage, maintain and develop professional relations with customers
• Maintain and administer the brand voice throughout all communications
• Assist with customer queries across all platforms
• Coordinate Social Media Campaigns as required
• Adhere to company policies, social media rules and regulations
• Stay on top of social media trends and pitch ideas to increase engagement
• Help to develop and maintain our social media content calendar
• Experience making TikToks/Reels (including editing, and knowledge of the TikTok platform)
• Monitor and report on trending videos and audios on TikTok to assist in content creation and development

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Experience making TikToks/Reels (including editing, and knowledge of the TikTok platform) is required
• A love for creating content, comfortable speaking to the camera and livestreaming is required
• Knowledge in current events and pop culture and Knowledge/proficiency in all current social platforms
• Demonstrate social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  Knowledge of SEO / Marketing tools is an asset
• Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in in social media or in a similar field is an asset
