Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Agile Coach to join our Consulting practice at Cognizant.
In this role, you will mentor and guide teams, assess our current Agile practices, and work closely with business and client leaders to develop and implement strategies for enhanced efficiency and product delivery.
Your expertise will be essential in driving our transformation into a fully Agile organization, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the successful adoption of Agile methodologies across all departments.

What you'll do

Define and implement a roadmap for agile transformation and improvement.
Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, and retrospective.
Coach team members on agile values, principles, and practices.
Help teams resolve impediments and conflicts.
Provide feedback and guidance on agile metrics and artifacts.
Support teams in using agile tools and platforms.
Train and mentor new and existing agile team members
Collaborate with other agile coaches and communities of practice.
Promote a culture of learning, experimentation, and feedback.

What you bring to the role

10 years of experience in Agile software development
Over 5 years of expertise in Agile coaching or consulting
Proven understanding of agile methodologies, tools, and standard processes
Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
Ability to work with diverse teams and collaborators.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Passion for continuous improvement and innovation
Certified in one or more agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or LeSS

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible.
Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring two days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON.
