Estimator - Demolition - GTA
The organization is a major construction group with multiple different arms including Demolition, Residential construction and Civil construction, that operates across Canada.

Estimator - Demolition - GTARole Responsibilities:

• Perform full tender process from invitation to submission for a 100% self-performance demolition company
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimations
• Review scope and complete bid forms
• Conduct site visits and attend bid interviews
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers
• Prepare RFIs (Request for Information) with clients
• Maintain the tender tracker and track submissions
• Follow up with clients throughout the bidding process
• Review production with the operations team
• Mentor and train junior team members
• Present bid opportunities to management
• Seek new demolition opportunities
• Review public demolition opportunities on platforms such as MERX, BIDS and TENDERS, BIDDINGO, ARIBA, etc.
• Bring new clients and business to the company
• Proactively seek out fresh avenues for demolition projects, utilizing industry networks, market analysis, and strategic partnerships.
• Scrutinize publicly available demolition projects listed on prominent platforms like MERX, BIDS and TENDERS, BIDDINGO, ARIBA, among others, to identify potential bids aligning with company capabilities and goals.

The Successful Applicant

Estimator - Demolition - GTASkills & Experience

• 7+ years construction experience
• 5+ years demolition focused estimating experience
• Mid/High-rise demolition estimating experience
• Experience working for a specialist demolition and abatement business is highly preferred

What's on Offer

A basic salary of up to $140,000 (dependent upon experience)
