The Shaw Group Limited is one of Eastern Canada's leading manufacturers and community developers. With a strong focus on products for the construction industry, we compete in a variety of market sectors and produce close to 1,000 individual products in 12 facilities across the Maritimes. The Shaw Group is looking to add an energetic and customer service-oriented individual in the role of Temporary Administrative Assistant. This position is based out of our Lantz, NS Head Office. We are looking for someone who is reliable with a positive attitude and takes pride in what they do.
Qualifications
Computer proficiency.
Customer Service experience
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Embody a customer focused attitude and understand the importance of our internal and external customers.
High School Graduate
Post-Secondary Diploma in Business or Office Administration is an asset.
Responsibilities
Providing administrative support to all departmental members.
Courteously receive and screen all in-bound calls, emails, and visitors.
Coordinate office activities.
Review, evaluate and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
Maintain a professional image and demeanor with all employees, management, executives, customers and visitors at all times.
Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
