Job Title: Recruiter
Location: Saint John, NB
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Rate of Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 an hour
Assignment Information:
Advantage Personnel is currently staffing for a Recruiter position on behalf of our client in Saint John, NB. Our client seeks a highly motivated individual who is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, possesses exceptional computer skills, and is eager to grow within their role. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented with strong multitasking abilities and a passion for recruiting top-tier talent.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment: Post job ads, review resumes, pre-screen candidates, and conduct reference checks.
• Verify safety/training certificates and assess candidate competencies.
• Manage crew onboarding: facilitate contract signing, orientations, and training documentation within the recruitment and training management system.
• Implement HR recruiting best practices.
• Generate detailed recruiting reports for team review.
• Serve as a primary contact, cultivating strong candidate relationships throughout the selection process.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience as a Recruiter.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or Office Administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Work Conditions:
The Recruiter will primarily work in a business casual office setting, collaborating as needed with the Human Resources department. They will conduct interviews via video and in person, while communicating with candidates and hiring managers.
